T-Bag - Black

I'm not sure when I purchased my first one. My wife thinks it was 2003. That makes my bag 20 years old. This shower (dopp, shave) bag has been with me on 14 deployments, in 57 countries, 6 continents, and 50 states. I am now retiring my first bag as I have warn the inside fabric paper thin. I travel extensively for work, now that I am retired from the Army. I'm on the road overnight 120-200 days a year and have this bag with me every trip. It is perfect.
Why? The hook on top grabs almost anything to hang it. The bungie holds a towel if there is no hook or towel rod to hang one by. The bag functions if there is no counter top, or if there is one. I use it in hotels, rv, camping, all over Africa, Central America, Europe, Asia, South America, in every place I find myself.

It is a bit stiff when new, but it loosens up after a few uses, so it hangs flat. The top pockets hold (left to right) toothbrush with small bottle of mouthwash and toothpaste. Middle rear is QTips. Right slot is deodorant. The small pockets in front of the large rear hold nail clippers, comb, small.scissors, razzers, tweezers, bandaids, and random stuff. Behind the large bag is extra zip locks, butt wipes, and flossers. The bag holds everything else. The flap beneath holds a disposable razer and my safety razer.

Perfect, and long lasting. What else can you ask for?

Solid construction but make it open up to lay flat when hanging.
Also love the open pockets on the inside but you can only use 2 of the 3 in each row because they are more like slots
Im not sure what the purpose is for the “shelf” made by using the elastic cord?
I’ll definitely buy another one when they are made to open up flat when hanging
