This is the best backpack I have ever owned for traveling. I ended up buying a second one because I gave my first backpack to my son for his travels around the world.
I can't imagine traveling without this backpack. It holds an incredible amount of clothing and other essentials while remaining comfortable to carry. The construction is excellent—it's very well made, durable, and built to last.
I highly recommend this backpack to anyone looking for a heavy-duty travel backpack.

I bought this same bag around 2006 (bag is slightly redesigned now for MOLLE attachments) and it lasted me all through two military deployments and then 8 years of college before it finally gave out (hole developed in the bottom) after approximately 12 years of heavy use. Bought a replacement bag in 2018 and it’s still holding up to this day. Buying another one now just to have one in reserve and the great discounted price.

Had one bag in the military and it was nice.
The second one I’ve gotten is defective, can’t zip or unzip. You’d think for the amount I spent there’d be some quality control.
And the idea I need to pay for a warranty for shipping after receiving a defective bag is pretty ridiculous. Won’t purchase again.

I have owned three of these Bugout Bags now since 2018, of which, the first I bought at the Davis-Monathan AFB BX, the second at the White Sands Missile Range BX, and now the one I've recently purchased directly from SOC. These bags can take a beating and will outlast most other brands out there bar none. I'm sure that I'm going to get some good mileage from this new bag for the next several years. Thanks SOC for a quality product!!

These are great backpacks. I’ve had one for close to 20 years that went to Iraq with me, and it’s been my main travel bag ever since. It’s still holding up great. I use it all the time for both the long and short trips, for camping and staying at luxury hotels, and everything in between. I’ve bought everyone in the family one and they all love them. I’m glad they’re still making them.
