Tried, True, Tested

I’ve had this bag since 2012 when I first started middle school and I gotta say this thing keeps on kicking. From the public school system of middle and high school, to the use and abuse of college classes, working in the construction industry on-site, vacations and day trips, to several hurricanes and natural disasters, this thing cannot and will not kick the bucket.

I love the size and the compartments. The material is strong and only the straps show signs of wear after 13 years of use. This is my go-to EDC/BOB and has served me well

The only reason I came to the website was to write a positive review because this is really the only bag you’ll ever need. Please keep making great products

12+ years and going strong

I have been ready to buy a new backpack for about five years, not because there is something wrong with this bag, but because I just felt like 7+ years with the same backpack is enough? But I guess not? This thing refuses to die. It's gone from the flight line in Japan to college back in the US to every day use for over a decade and there is little sign of wear. The build quality is excellent. I just wish I had the receipt of when I bought this bag so I could show you all.

Excellent Backpack

I haven’t got the chance to fully use it but this has all the space needed for my specific needs. These are worth what for the price so don’t really look at cost look as an investment. Also, I would highly recommend these to anyone needing a bugout bag or even for everyday use.

Best Beg You Will Ever Have

This bag went through 6 hard years of rucking both stateside and abroad. I have loaded this thing absolutely down with up to 80 pounds of gear at a time had flashlights, gallons of water hanging off the side and many other things and never once had a problem from it. There was a few times where the seams of the exterior patches ripped off but a 10 minute stitch and I used it for years after with no issues. It was not until yesterday where I again loaded it down to bursting when I finally had a zipper rip from the seam. This backpack is one you will have once and then again and again for life. There is no better bang for your buck.

Initial Observations

It's difficult for me to find a "GO" bag that I really like. This one hits most of the highlights I look for in a go bag.

I am an organization freak. I love the four main pockets and the two sets of internal pockets. This is an upgrade from my original bag, as it weighs about 4 pounds without anything in it. This pack is a little bit lighter than what it is replacing. Yet it seems to have enough room to keep everything inside the bag save only the necessities like a compass and water. The shoulder pads seem soft enough that I should be able to wear them for a while before slipping them off and resting my shoulders. The zippers do not need coaxing around the corners and all the way up without holding the bag's bottom to zip it.

My only complaint, if you can call it that, is that the cumberbund belt has no padding like for better quality bags.

More to come in the future, as I have to use it for a bit first.
